PITKN Creative (FI33791814), Haapaniemenkatu 16A, 00530 Helsinki, Finland ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this shop.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you place an order, we collect: your name, email address, shipping address, and order details (item, price, order date). Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) — we never see or store your full card number.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
- To process and fulfil your order (produce and ship your photobook)
- To send you order confirmation and shipping status emails
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations (e.g. invoicing, tax records)
- To respond if you contact us about an order
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
- Big Cartel — our e-commerce platform, which hosts this store and processes orders
- Stripe and PayPal — to process payments
- ifolor — our print production partner, who receives the information needed to produce and ship your book (name, shipping address)
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep order records for as long as required by Finnish accounting law (currently 6 years), and delete personal data we no longer have a legal or operational reason to hold beyond that.
YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)
As an EU resident, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Finland: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi)
